An IT trainer who teaches office teams the keys before the menus, and a keyboard builder who works from a home desk. Between them they sign all eight sections.
Lydia Szabo has worked in IT training and operations for twelve years, teaching office teams Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, from first-week onboarding to spreadsheet clinics. She teaches the keys before the menus, with Mac and Windows side by side.
As editor she writes the Shortcuts, Spreadsheets, Productivity Apps, Automation and Mac & Windows sections, and checks every key on Shortcut Sheets against the maker’s own published list.
Felix Okoro has built and modded keyboards for nine years, from his first hot-swap kit to the split board he types on now, and has worked from a home desk for most of that time. He judges a keyboard by a full working day on it rather than a sound test, and says when a cheaper one does the job.
He writes the Keyboards, Desk Setup and Typing sections: switches, sizes and layouts, the mice, monitors and chairs around the keyboard, and touch typing for people who learned with two fingers.
